457 granted

Opened my emails today and found this:

"Dear Volker, I am pleased to confirm that you have been granted a 457 visa until 7 April 2012."

That's some way to start a new week...

Only downside: they have sent everything to the Australian Embessy in Berlin rather than London, needs some sorting out. Or, indeed, a day trip to Berlin. Haven't been there for quite a few years.

Well, it's not really their fault, at least not fully. As I am German they obviously sent it to the Australian Embassy in Germany, not realising that I am not resident in Germany. Minor detail... But shouldn't be a problem to sort it out (famous last words).
