WA v NSW - pros and cons of both?!

Recommended Posts

Guest Susie

Hi everyone

We are researching and weighing up where to go, IF and WHEN we get accepted to go to Oz. We've narrowed it down to WA or NSW and any advice, info on either from those in the know as well as any info on suburbs would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi

All i can tell you is what i have heard from a few peeps that have lived in WA & NSW,

it can be rather too hot sometimes in WA - believe me NSW gets hot too (just showered luke warm and im melting already and its only 10.20am)

WA you can feel a bit isolated & its no where as hilly & green as NSW,

sure theres plenty of WA peeps on here who will give you lots of positives for WA and the same for NSW,

Good luck with your application & choice of ploace

hard one - I'm biased 'cos i've settled in WA and love it - I like that it isn't over populated with only 2 million people, it's friendly and there's heaps of space. It is quieter than other places but we wanted a more relaxed way of life and it's ticked all our boxes.

Perth and Western Australia is a slower pace of life than

What I remember of Sydney visited there in 1992.

I guess the only way to decide is if you can afford it visit both states you self.

You can ignore reality but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality
