General advice about brisbane shopping, living etc

      Hi

We are moving to brisbane next april does anybody have any I idea where I can go to get things for the house such as bedding, towels, kettles etc, Is there a store where you can get most things in one place. Does anyone know what are the clothing stores are like, We are looking to rent first can anyone recommend a nice area within a 20 mile radius of brisbane, we are a couple no children like an area not near the beach, quiet but not dead, nice resturants and places to walk maybe and shops close by if that possible.

Hiya Big W ,K mart & Target are 3 of the stores you can buy most household goods, including bedding, garden stuff etc.Furniture wise look out for Ikea,Super A-mart and fantastic furniture. As far as im concerned, the clothes arent brill,, my nan would suit them more! The 3 stores i mentioned above also sell clothes and are similar to Asda but without the food! good luck with your move Brisbane is a lovely place with some of the most friendlist people ive ever met.

If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place...
If you get a chance, take it, If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy they just said it would be worth it...
