Hi guys,

Welcome to PIO. This is a great site for you. You will become addicted I promise! We are going to the RAAF in just over 2 months. It doesn't seem any time since our interview in Australia House - now 10 months ago........ If you have any questions about the process along the way feel free to drop us a line. OH going with the same rank - Flt Lt and same job - Air Traffic Control only with a loss of 2 yrs seniority - not a problem. You will fill our more paperwork in the next little while than you have probably ever done in your life - but the time soon passes and it will be worth it. Our stuff in storage - we've been overseas for the last four and a half years - goes in two weeks and our stuff from here in only 4! We fly back to the UK mid October and fly to Melbourne via 3 days in KL and Langkawi Island courtesy of ADF. Keep in touch and fire away those questions. As a PS my friends Nev and Angie are going with the Navy in a couple of weeks. PM Them - you will find them under that name - and they will help you loads.

Im a matelot doing the Oz thing, Just sending off the medical paperwork at the moment (the size of Sugar Loaf mountain) Quick dit on me : PO Submariner (Sonar), married with 3 girls, will be hopefully going out after time done (2 yrs time) Currently based up at Faslane. If you have any Questions or thoughts related to Navy or anything etc then i'll gladly share what i have:radar:
There are loads of guys i know talking about applying, action is another thing though!

Hi guys welcome to pio just wanted to say hello.We are not navy but hubby is ex english navy,and his friend hadjoined ozzy navy in it for three years and left but still in oz,Good luck.

Hubby is ex navy just wanted to say hello and welcome to PIO. there seem to be quite a few forces folk going off to OZ, mainly RAF AND Army. Sure you'll get loads of advice from them.
