      Which Airline?

Now I just know that somebody out there will help on this one!

We have the opportunity of visiting Brisbane during December. Any thoughts, with two young children in tow, and limited funds, of the best airline to use??

Please give me some searching to do!!

      Hi,
We have flown with BA, Qantas and Singapore airlines.
Without doubt Singapore was the best, Qantas was second best and BA, well i think it stands for Bl***y awful

Just gonna butt in with a question bout airline food too here (so big apologies cazb) but we were wondering about using Singapore Airlines. I know that everyone says they are fantastic but my oh is incredibly fussy about his grub and I am assuming the food they serve is asian/oriental, am I right? Would be flying economy so know the choice would be massively limited!! but he wouldnt be able to go whole flight without eating something.

Having heard everyones feedback about BA, no matter how good the food might be we are definately not gonna go with them and was thinking Qantas it is - or Virgin, however Singapore flight prices are pretty good and everyone sings their praises.

Whenever you see a cheap flight to Oz advertised its always with China Airways, sometimes Brunei Airways or Eithad? but have absolutely no idea what they would be like (or what food they would dish up hehe)

Have hunted around quite a few websites for prices and yesterday the best ones I could find were on Airmiles which is brill cos I have enough now for one free flight (not including taxes and surcharges)

We were given a free Moving Planet cd rom which (once you register) gives you loads of discounts for lots of stuff. We entered emirates through the site and booked our flights at a discount price and also got 50k of luggage each.

We flew with emirates before and so chose to use them again - we couldn't fault them!

Have heard Gulf air are good and the have nannies on board if you want to use them for the children. Have not used them myself though, let us know who you use and how you get on as we are travelling with a 3 and 2 year old!!

Definately Singapore for me food was great not all asian had "normal food", sandwiches, fruit, chocolate bars, cakes you name it.

In flight entertainment was great kids loved the nintendo, on demand films, comedy and drama channels, couldnt fault them.

Unfortunately for us they dont fly to cairns and have to try and find something other than Cathay Pacific who everyone I know hates but seem to come in at cheapest.

Have heard emirates are good though but have no experience and I would never fly BA again treated badly by ground crew after I was evacuated from the Gulf before the first gulf war.

      Enough of my moaning sorry

Got to be Emirates! Flew with them three years ago and economy class was fantastic. We're planning to fly with them to Oz in February and they are the cheapest offer we could find as well.

Flew with BA longhaul once before...and never again!!

      Hi,

I would only now go with emirates. The flight was great, good food, kids meals, and great entertainment system.
I personally will never fly with British Airways ever again. Rubbish service, meals and their inflight entertainment nevers seems to be working.
