      Thumbs up Skill assessment

      Hi everyone
Just sharing our news with you all,We received our skill assessment back on 23rd June and we've passed (YIPEE) , our police checks have come back on the same day and my nomination number(employer nomination scheme) came by email on 22nd June (can't believe it ) . I just want to say to anyone whose just started to do their TRA that you need to bombard them with loads of information . We had to do several statutory declarations because of employers that had closed down or been taken over , i got them signed by an ex managing director and a service manager but they will acept work colleages as long as its verifyable ie . names and addresses ,phone numbers etc. So even if you are daunted about asking your present employer about references you could do stat decs as long as you put down the reason why you haven't asked and as long as its signed by someone who can verify the information if the TRA contacted them(which apparently is very rare).
Anyway thanks for listening and remember WHERE THERES A WILL THERES A WAY
      TRA sent 25/5/07
      TRA acknowledged 6/6/07
      TRA passed 23/6/07

If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place...
If you get a chance, take it, If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy they just said it would be worth it...
