Places to stay in Melbourne

Could anyone advise us on places to stay in Melbourne there is me Harvey and my wife Kirsty both 36 and the 2 kids Connor aged 8 & Kaitlin aged 5. What we are looking for is a nice family area to stay with good schools etc. But not to far from my place of employment which will be in Oakleigh. If any one can help or offer any sugestions it would be greatly appreciated. Going for medicals this Friday so its starting to get to the scary stage now.

Mate, there are heaps of rentals around Oakleigh and surrounding suburbs. It is a fairly older established suburb.

Even though your work is in Oakleigh, you may in the end decide not to live there, who knows, you could end up in Woop Woop with a couple of horses and a few pigs and making a 45 minute drive to the job in Oakleigh and the kids going to a country school.

Who knows, get here first.
