      vetassess carpentry practical...take own tools?

g'day poms, can anyone tell me who has done the carpentry practical for vetassess if you take your own tools, if so what gear do you need? also what sort of work do they get you to do ?

Hi my husband did it a few years ago he had all his tools with him but they do have own tools on site as it is a college. They make you use their tools for all the tasks. Hope this helps

I've got the bumff of them here it says that you are more than welcome to take your own tools but that all tools needed are available there. Examples of work to be done on the day, set out stud wall, identify scaffold components, rip timber using power saw, construct a pitch hip and gabled roof. Joinery is using static machinery some joints possibly some drawing.
I'm doing the carpentry and joinery test on the 23rd june. I'm taking my tool belt, square, couple of bevels a decent saw and maybe a couple of chisels for joinery side the rest i'll just use the gear there
