Forgot, it was Northbridge you went to, wasn't it?
But you're right, the north is the best, The Pilbara and The Kimberlies of WA, The Northern Territory and North Queensland.
Cheers, Bobj.

I prefer the East of Australia, why, even though the distances are still vast compared to UK, other centres are closer and it only takes an hour to fly from Sydney to Melbourne, Melbourne to Adelaide. Because of this people find it easy to go for the weekend etc.
I believe that goods are cheaper also because the population on the East Coast is larger than the west. Transport costs add a lot to products.
The climate for each city on the East Coast is different so more choice.
Good luck with whatever you decide

Would that mean that Coles would in fact charge more for say the same tin of beans in Perth compared to Sydney?

For me it as to be the West, as that side as the coast on it, my East as nothing but miles of scrub land

Probably.
"Choice" magazine used to do an annual supermarket survey throughout Australia and there was quite a variation in prices, even between the various branches of the one supermarket chain. I think Darwin was always the most expensive.
