looking for information as looking to move to oz this year :-)

Hey im marc 25 from scotland, looking to get a YWV and do a bit travelling around oz and do alot of adventurous things aswell as work, was just looking to see if anyone is in the same kind of situation and looking for someone to travel or meet up with as im starting my journey alone due to friends at home having commitments etc? any info on places to stay and how easy it is to find work etc will be much appreciated

hello marc, welcome to PIO from another scot :) Sounds like you've got very exciting times coming up! have you had a look at the travelling part of the forum? theres plenty of jobs on there that our very helpful admin called 'moving to melbourne' puts up for everyone, that'll give you a idea of the sort of jobs available. Theres also a bunch of other people who are going over this year so you could see about meeting up before you go or while your over there.

Send britchick or pommy paul a PM, they're recently back from travelling and will have loads of info for you about the best places to stay etc.

Where are you thinking of heading first and do you plan on staying for the 2 years? if you do then you should get your regional work out the way asap so you can get your second year visa.
