Moving is stressful and IMO you're better off to get it over with quickly rather than prolong the agony. I left the UK 30 days after getting my visa approval letter - basically 4 weeks and of those, I probably wasted two of them just fussing. You will manage because you have to. Get the shippers to pack everything. Get a skip for the rubbish and just don't think too hard about it. I thought the hardest task was finishing off all my open bottles of whisky in time...
My husband looked at his whisky collection when the shippers told us in November that he shouldn't bother taking it. He had 7 open bottles at the time, and 3 months to drink them... he's drinking more than I've ever seen him drink in his life at the moment (about a triple shot every night, I'd say). We're down to 2 bottles, and he's got a month to go...

Hold in there, you will be fine and if I can help you with anything I will.

      Good luck xx

We haven't yet, but we've made the decision to do it, we're in the process of finding a sponsored hob for my husband. We've already had a gent from an agency contact us through this site. He rang us a couple of nights ago and said he thought he could help. Until we have a job, we wont know any more. He's trying to find a job to get us a 457 visa.

My hubby's a snr mechanical design engineer, so if you know of any agency's specialising in finding sponsored jobs, please let me know.......

Hope all the planning's actually going to plan! lol
