Interesting show. I thought the distillery bloke was great, proper ecentric.

Interesting to see the nightlife. Seems the gold coast has exactly the same sort of problems we have in the UK, altho probably not to such a degree.

And the paramedic, just seem to be loving the whole thing. Its makes me so optomistic to see people loving it and embracing the differences.

Cant wait to get there !!!!!

That's it! The perfect career - a Meter Maid!

Who wouldn't want to walk around a sun drenched beachside city wearing all but a skimpy gold bikini (might even get to wear the banner if I'm good at it!), retiring at 40 and getting called some pretty nasty names now & then!

      Sorted!

Why did some of them take it so seriously? I'm a women and they don't offend me, just harmless fun. Just laughed at the bloke with his girlfriend who gave them a right good looking up and down!

Last nights episode was bit of a joke but it's the Goldie, what do you expect! Sun, sea and sexy meter maids! (well if you're a bloke that is!).

Yes I see they are on next week. I hope people will be a bit more thoughtful before they post next time.

Hopefully people will get a chance to "know them " better.

Another great show, its hopefully safe to say they are only showing positive poms instead of the whinging type, which is great, we get enough of that on PIO. The old Gadger with the liqours was great, really funny a real character and the meter maids, looked fantastic, fancy having a job where you wear a bikini for a living, i wonder if it could take off in sunnyless Yorkshire. lol

The old boy who owned the distillery was great, and the paramedic seemed to be loving her life.

Glad to see they put some of the not so nice aspects on like the p!ssed up folk, and next week there's a couple returning to the UK saying there nightmare is over be interesting to see why they couldn't make it work for them.

Back in my halcyon days I used to knock about with a meter maid, (yes, she was the only gold clad maid with a white stick and labrador) and she said her 'shelf' life was very limited etc.

But she made that many contacts through her job that she would have had no trouble in getting further employment when age caught up with her. Without being creepy, the maids are an integral part of main street GC, and put a smile on many faces,.

      Cheers Tony.

I'm not able to see it here in Oz but I'd like to think that there would be people on there that love life here and those that don't. You need the variety to get a balanced view. Life here can be **** at times. It isn't all sunlight and roses and that is coming from one of the sun and surf gang!! Lol lol
