How can you shape the future if you dont understand the past . . . .
I'm sat at home, child free, listening to some lovely Balearic mixes through the speakers...writing an essay about neoliberalism and the rationalisation of the welfare state.

I've just built my new BBQ - an outback - not sure if that is an Aussie brand. My old one (weber copy) of seven years finally rusted through.
I took my old butane cylinder to my local hardware store, as I could not get the propane regulator off that the BBQ came with, so I needed to exchange for a propane cylinder. £34 - the nice man said - but do you mind me asking why you need to change. I told him - and he said 'don't be a ninny, cut the tube'. Saved me £34 quid - but talked himself out of a sale. But then - that's why I use my village hardware store.
