The Happy, Happy, Feel Good Thread...
All people have one thing in common. We all want to be liked, don't we? We are an extremely ego driven race, however we have a strong need to have the approval from others. To make people feel good, you don't have to go out of your way and you don't have to even like the person. What do you like to do to make a person feel good?
Myself personally I like to understand. If you put yourself in other peoples positions and really understand what they are saying or going through. People feel good when they know someone understands what they are saying.

I like to try to make them laugh! Attempt to at least. Or if someones down give them the positive out of the situation. Sometimes just me listening to them helps too.

G'day,
I can tell you now, other than the jokes about you being a pom, Aussie people just want you to be yourself! More than likely the aussie's will here your accent and just want to talk to you anyway!

Besides the normal stuff, humour, conversation etc, I reckon just listening is one of the greatest attributes we can possess dreamer, and you would be surprised what you yourself can learn from this type of experience as well.
It's surprising how even the most hardened of souls is screaming out at times to be 'listened' to. Hard at times, to 'give' in this way, but normally pays dividends in the end.
Cheers Tony.
