No EFTPOS in Australia

So for anyone coming to Australia from NZ the point is Australia doesn’t have EFTPOS as we know it. I know NZ banks charge the card holder per transaction so I guess it’s different here. Still, whatever the reason, it’s annoying to have to deal in cash again.

safeways, you don't even have to spend anything and they will let you get cash out, I know because I needed some money for the trolly and didnt have any so they swiped my card, got $20 in change so I could use a dollar for the trolley, not all bad eh?

I never use cash always Eftpos. Also I am with NAB and they do not charge if we use another bank's atm. They brought that in recently think its cheaper than putting in more atm's

Only the pubs like you to use their atms and will not take eftpos but I just use credit card then.
