Smile anyone enjoy clubbing in sydney?

Hi I have posted on the social forum but thought i would put something here too! I'm pretty new in sydney moved last year to live in hills area with hubby and 2 kids. I'm a young at heart 34 yr old who loves to go clubbing! I used to go out with girlfriends a lot in the Uk as i enjoy big city nights out and dance music! my hubby isn't really a clubbing person and as yet the friends i have made would rather have dinner parties, which is lovely, but i also would like some nights out in the city. I would love to meet some friends to go out clubbing with, age no issue ( i feel like i'm still 18!) please help i'm getting old before my time!!!! Corrie x

      Hi Corrie,

The girlfriend and I are moving to Sydney in April. We would be up for nights out in the city.. How dance musiccy are we talking? Because i have hung up my glowstick and white gloves.... However, i still like a good dance.... 28 year old retired 'Gatecrasher / CREAM kid'

Hi Nick, yeah don't worry i've also retired from the glow stick and white glove scene!!! although it was soooo good back in the 90's!!( when i was bit younger!!) There are lots of different clubs in sydney city although i haven't had a chance to try many of them yet. I guess its case of trial and error! I will try and get some recommendations! If you send me pm i can give you mobile to call when you both get here and we can arrange a night out! Corrie x

      Hi Kaz,
yes sydney can be expensive to live but like anywhere it really depends on what you are looking for. If you want to live near the city or beach then generally its pretty pricey. We are living in a suburb called cherrybrook which is northwest of the city. Depending on traffic we can drive to the city centre in 30 mins and our nearest beach also takes about half hour to drive. We moved to the hills area because we had friends there and we had heard it was nice. So far i would agree. Its great place for families and the schools are all good in our area. As we have kids that was important for us. Anyway good luck with the visa! Feel free to PM if you have any other questions! And when you get here we must arrange to check out the city clubs!!!
