Work

Hi all just looking for some advice. I am a nurse and my husband is a flooring contractor. We're are intending to move to Oz in 12 months (visa pending!) and would like to live in the central coast/terrigal area. Does anyone know if it would be feasable to find jobs in those localities or should we move closer to Sydney? Any ideas would be helpful x

hi

we returned from Terigal last month after a 6 week holiday. It is very expensive there so be warned! My wife is a student nurse and she did a 3 week placement in Wyong hospital which is about 20 miles from Terrigal. The nearest hospital is Gosford, about 8 miles away.

there are many nice suburbs in & around Terrigal and to be honest it is no more expensive for every day things than if you were to be in Sydney cbd,in fact cheaper, the property here on the coast to rent or buy is still cheaper than Sydney and hopefully will stay that way (although the average in sydney now for a 2 bed unit is $430 a week)
also have a peek at Erina Fair
thats the local (largest shopping center on the coast)
yell if you need anymore help & good luck
