Cox's, this white house is 26 Little Lake Cres, the house to the left is 26A.

This is the view from the house, looking at Windang Island.

There was a cool breeze today RVN, but I only had a singlet and sloppy joe on, and pants of course, there is a cycleway/walking track that goes around the lake from Oak Flats on the south western side of the lake, to the southern end of Warilla beach, once they build a little bridge over the inlet called little lake, we will be able to go all the way to Shellharbour.
The OH has been making me walk since she retired last week, her walking isn't only twice as fast as mine, but twice as far also, so we have been doing different parts of the walkway each day, the next walk is to do the Sea Cliff Bridge, I tried telling her that the walkway there is only if the car breaks down.
10pm and it's only 8 deg C now,BRrrrrrrrrrrr.

Brrrr!! Yes, it has been a bit chilly today hasn't it? And what about those 100km/hour winds? We haven't seen our BBQ cover since! I know 8 deg isn't really cold by pommie standards but when you get used to 30 odd degrees you feel the difference in a little temperature drop. Tip: Don't make our mistake of not bringing your winter woolies/coats, some days you'll need them. We arrived in June 06, which was extra cold apparently with a suitcase full of summer clothes coz everyone told us Aussie winters are like English summers, that should have warned us really!! I always wondered where little lake was Skippy, now i know! They have started extending the bike path a little way now, be good when the bridge goes in, it's a really nice bike ride to and round the lake. What other adventures have you been on? Donna

Skippy your a real star mate thank you so very much for taking the pictures it looks just perfect!!! Do you know how long it would take to cycle to the hospital from there? Are there any horrendous hills that i should be worried about? The beach looks beautiful and yes we would love to take you up on your offer of a guided tour when we get there. Thanks to CookieCat for the advice about the woolies and stuff 8 degrees sounds cold enough to me!!! Take care all see you real soon!

It will take approx 20 mins, there is 1 hill whichever way you go, whether you take the main road or the bike track, that's when the bicycle becomes a pushbike, ha ha.
I will show you both ways when you get here, there nothing to worry about & it's all down hill or flat on the way home.

I am still in shock Donna, having my wife home again after 20 years of 13 hour days, driving & working in Cronulla , so we are just relaxing and getting to know one another again.
It's nice getting taken out to lunch each day though, but there is a jobs to do list on it's way for me, this week will be a challenge, it's the school holidays, so I think we may be entertaining some of our grandchildren.
