Surfers is quite expensive for housing and not neccasarily a place id want to live (especially around schoolies week,lol).I would look slightly inland around coomera ,robina etc lots of new developments are being built and most are reasonable prices for 'coast' living ,,

I shall check out the areas you suggested, I have a great aunt that stays in Coolangatta and would like to be close but not too close. we are unsure what are the good areas and were looking to rent first of all.

Coomera and coomera waters are about 25/30mins drive from coolangatta,hope this helps
