a must for any motorsport fan bathurst is the biggest motorsport event on the calender bigger than the F1 i think (someone correct me if im wrong). to get the full experiance got up into the fire pit on the sat night and see why it has that name just dont park your car there though!
good enough for me to get up and watch at 3 in the morn in the uk!

For the full experience you have to camp for three days on top of the mountain
Nothing beats that roar of a 6 lt V8 thumping up the hill towards your camp site as a wake up call for the day.
