Palm Cove - QLD
This place was amazing! It was like something from a post card - white sands - beautiful sunshine - Rain Forest behind........smaill islands dotted outside the bay - lovely!

Stayed at the Mango Lagoon resort, very nice. Loved the Reef and the rainforests. Palm Cove is full of health resorts. Port Douglas is a nice little holiday village. A lot of the Hollywood stars stay there (so I've heard).

You can't go to oz without a trip to Far North QLD

That coast line from Cairns to Cape Tribulation is my favourite place in the world!

I got married in St Mary's by the sea in Port Douglas in 2003 and love it there.

Agreed. Had a holiday based in Palm Cove a month ago - fantastic place to go for us Victorians at this time of year. Not sure it is quite so pleasant in the wet season though ...

Couldn't agree more - I actually worked at the Mango Lagoon and lived in the resort for three mongth Dec 05 - Feb 06.

Great place for a holiday - and the fishing....
