Jo it really is a great place.
it was my favourite place to visit when i was there. may soung funny,but i felt at home there,if you know what i mean.it was a strange feeling.
looking out over the swan river was absolutly fantastic.
on a more sober note,every tree there,is planted in memeory of a fallen australian soldier.
each tree has a plaque with the name age and regiment of the the fallen soldier.
there are hundreds of treees.......

How poignant Steve, and a great way to remember the fallen...so many places to go, so many memories still to make...Steve can totally understand why you felt like you belonged, ya know I got that feeling wherever we went in Oz....Dont you be starting me off again, i just mopped up from last night xx

I think partly its to do with the people ,everywere we have ventured over here ,the aussies make you feel welcome,its so a good feeling ,you'd be called a idiot in the uk for walking up to a stranger to start conversation ,but it seems the norm here(or am i just an idiot)
