Hi all

does anyone know how easy/difficult it is to set up a bank account and organise a mortgage in Oz. Also what is the average deposit for a house?

It's no mystery really pretty similar to the UK don't let anyone tell you otherwise!. Just as you would in the UK, you would approach your bank or a broker and once approved go out and look for a property in the traditional way. Speak to agents, view properties, make offer, buy property, simple really.
