Becomming an Expat and Tax.
I'm sure that some who have made the move alreday can answer this one. When you leave th UK and inform the taxman of your intentions are you entitled to a tax rebate? eg. will you get the tax you have paid for that year back? because you are becomming an expat and every little helps the budget.

The form you want is P85, the following link should take you to the correct HM Revenue page and yes if you have overpaid tax during the year that you permanently leave the UK you are entitled to claim it back.
