Hi Rache&Matt,

Funnily enough I've just had a phone call from them offering their services but I am not sure what we are going to do.

They do seem to know their stuff, and we would love to save as much money as possible on transfers, tax etc etc, but were hoping someone out there could give us some good reports on any companies that supply financial advice.
Anyone out there know anything???

Of course you can Mel - even if pomsInOz and it derivatives is a censored phrase on their forum. Must feel threatened!

Hi ya

We used Montfort. Dealt with Paul Davies and he was very informative, responsive and helpful. They helped us put all our financials into good order so that we can smoothly move our pensions here and into an Oz scheme - I do believe they saved us money in the long run even though there was a cost. They didn't just focus on pensions.

I do believe that ultimately all our experiences are different depending on who you deal with, the day of the week etc !

Good luck.

Not used Montford but can say don't use Prism Xpat whatever you do. They took over a year to transfer my pension, lost the cheque twice in the process & didn't even notice - After all this they still believe they have done a good job unbelievable....I'd hate to see what happens when they have a bad one - they ain't cheap either...
