A rough guess id say it cost us about 6,000gbp ,that includes paying an agent to apply for visa, shippers, visa costs, medicals ,flights etc

It's very difficult to say as the cost will depend most significantly on

a) How many of your possessions (if any) you take with you
b) Whether you use an agent to obtain your visas & what type

e.g.
Flights £2.5K approx
Visas £2K-£4K e.g
Moving costs £0K-£4K+ (depends on size of container or if you're just taking luggage)

So it could vary as much as £4.5K-£10K+
That excludes any costs associated with selling your house if applicable, costs of transporting pets or cars if applicable etc.

Re Visa - I'd get a couple of quotes from agents re the visa then see whether it's possible or you want to apply yourself.
Re moving costs - Someone will be able to give you a quote per cubic foot/metre then work out how much stuff you want to take with you.
