I'm contracting on a 457 visa with my payroll/super/lafha etc done through a company called CXC. This last financial year they've been withholding a portion of my salary until I go on holiday or take a sickie. They withhold 20 days holiday and 10 days sick leave. If I don't take these entitlements in full then CXC hold on to the money until the end of my contract. I've also been told I can't cash in any of these entitlements until 18 months have passed.
Anyone else in this situation because I have trouble believing this is true?
