Red face Help Please With A UK Savings Account....

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping that someone can help me with the following:

I am looking for a UK internet savings account (not a current account) that will give me a reasonable interest rate that will enable me to set up a monthly standing order from.

The reason being is that I would like to leave some money here to cover our endowment policy that I am loathed to cash in because we are emigrating.

I've been looking at various building society accounts but none appear to offer a 'standing order' facility. Is there one out there?

Grateful for any help you can give.

Many thanks,

Steve.

suandianbrown is on a distinguished road
Hi ya

Try looking at bank of Scotland, I think its called "the extra income account" What happens is, any interest paid on your savings gets transfered to another account of your choice automatically every month. The interest rate is pretty good too!!! about 6.5% at the mo.

Hope this helps suz
