sending money to oz account need advice

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice on transfering money to an oz account. Was going to use a company like ozforex but not sure how it all works. Do i transferit to such a company and then they deposit it in my australian account? How long does this take and are there any hidden charges or catches?

We've got an account with Halo and Hifx. We used Halo to transfer money to our oz bank account, it cost £15 and was at a good rate (sadly the rate is dropping since!). Any transfers with Hifx are free and any over £25000 with Halo are free. It was really simple to do - as long as your bank don't start playing silly beggars when you want to transfer large amounts of money into a forex account like mine did!
