archimylife1279
My PR is estimate to be granted next Feb and later I plan to get my wife a onshore partner visa and my child as a additional applicant. My question is if this is the situation, am I eligible to start claiming family tax benefit when my child is under Bridging visa? Thanks
blossom
That's a very good question. Maybe give centerlink a call and ask?
wrussell
From what you have posted, your child would not meet the residence requirements.
blossom
I'd still check with centerlink as it's you applying not the baby, and you have pr (well will do). They can only say no.

I agree, still check because you become eligible for Medicare when you have applied for an 820 and are on a bridging visa, so you never know, you may be eligible for something.
