Claiming back Super

Hi Everyone.

I'm desperate for a new 2nd hand car as mine has finally died, but severly lack any cash to get one.
Does anyone know if i can claim some of my super back? I've seen and heard mixed reports. I know if i was to come back to the UK i could.
I don't want all of it, just some for a small run about.

I don't think you will be able to withdraw any mney from super for a new car. I have a friend who managed to get some money out of her super, but she was in dire, really dire financial need and it was still a struggle.
