Dear friends, please post here any news, information and timing for ve 176 visa.

i have applied ve175 visa(metal machinist(first class)4112-13) on 22 march 2009. later i have applied westren australia sponsership. i got approved and it was added to my main application on 28 april 2010(diac confirmed).

how long i have to wait for my PR.

Unfortunatly there is no answer to this....... its an unlimited wait which is really not fair. Hopefully your occupation will be on one of the SMP yet to be released.

Sorry, I'm not sure what the timeline would be for cat4 but there is a chance that your occupation could be on the new state migration plan for WA when it is released

I too face a simiar predicimate. dont worry - were in our droves out here! All awaiting for the State Migration Plans.
- Cat 2 - Yippeeee. within 12-24 month etc.
- Cat 4 - I darnt say. It doesnt look good. My agent said it would be a V long wait and would not advise remaining in this group. But thing change as the Cat 4 group does not seem fair in the slightest and something may be adjusted to provide a light- but i really wouldnt old my breath.

To end on a positive. if you are Cat 4 - you could try the Employement Sponser (ENS). Admitedtley a bit of hard graft setting up prospectous employees etc.,, But if its a way in, and it works.. It will all the worth it when we say.. Do you remember when.... thats of course when we are chucking the shirmps on the Barbieeee!
