Guest Rusty10
Can anyone point me to somewhere on the immigration website that tells you how to get my 136 visa put in a new UK passport as my wife and youngest child's passports are going to expire before the four year citizenship date comes around. I have found the site giving me the forms to renew the UK passport whilst in Australia via the Post office here but can find nothing re the visa swap. Any help would be gratefully received. LukeM
I was just thinking about passports/visas earlier too, do you actually need a passport unless you intend to leave the country anyways?? Cos my nanna hadn't had one for 20-something years or more because she never left England since that many years ago until last year to come out here with us for a reccie!

Guest Rusty10
Dani thanks for that- how did you get it processed?
Alan Collett
Maybe speak to your local DIAC office once you have your new passports. They should be able to arrange the re-evidencing of your visas. Best regards.
