Issues with 457 to PR?

Hello All,
There are a number of ways to gain PR while on a SC457:

1. You can have your skills assessed and apply for an Independent visa (SC175/6) at any time (as long as your occupation is on the SOL and you meet the points pass mark).
2. You can have your skills assessed and apply for an ENS visa at any time (as long as your sponsor is prepared to sponsor you for PR).
3. If you earn over $165,000 you can apply for an ENS visa at any time (as long as your sponsor is prepared to sponsor you for PR).
4. You can wait till you have been in Australia for 2 years on a SC457 and been employed by your PR sponsor for the last 12 months at which point a skills assessment is not required.

Of course there are other factor as well but these are the basic requirements.

Oh! I didn't realise that you could apply at anytime if your employer is willing to sponsor you for PR. I thought you still had to wait 2yrs!
So I have been here 19months and have been working for my employer for 14months (but only on the 457 since September 2009). Does that mean if he wants to sponsor me now for PR - he can???

Could I ask, does being here on a working holiday visa count as part of your time in the country (before being employed) or does it have to be 2 years in the country whilst in employment?
