676 to 457

Hi all,
Does anyone know if you have a 457 granted while you are on 676 (12 month tourist) whether you still need to leave the country?
Employer just submitted ENS 121 but wants me to start ASAP, so also wants to do a 457 in the meantime.
Any help appreciated!

You can stay if your visa works. But you should leave, especially when CO requests so.
