Does the CO clear the Police Check?

My application is SOOOOOOO close. My meds and new passport request from my CO were processed last Friday and have been changed to "met".

The funny thing is that the Overseas Penal Clearance still says "Requested" even though I uploaded it way back on December 23rd. This is the last unmet requirement on the list.

I did email my CO to make sure she had everything but he has been unresponsive.

Does anyone know if he is actually the one that clears that document or is there another body that verifies them?

As you can tell I am getting very anxious :)

sorry but i have no idea if it is diac who clears them, But i know from our on line status, nothing changed to met until the day we were allocated our visa, Sorry thats not much help is it,

If you are becoming anxious and want peace of mind, why don't you give the CO a ring.
Nothing on our online status changed to 'met' until we got our grant, so I don't think you have anything to worry about, but it can't harm to make sure.

Thanks for the replies. I'll just do my best to stay patient I think. It is progressing so I can't really complain. Just wish it'd come already :)

Hey Melanie,

Same condition is mine ... all the documents that I've provided is still showing "Rquired". But my medical shows finalized in the front page. Is it really true that all documents status changes to "met" at once when one gets the visa(as you've said)? I'm also a bit worried about this fact ...
