Defacto Visa Granted!

Well I just wanted to post a comment and say thanks to everyone who contributes to this site, used it extensively to get my defacto visa. We lodged it in october and after some back and forth with the case officer, and an apparent 2-4 month processing times. It has finally been granted now on 01/02/10. All I can say to anyone else thinking of going for the defacto visa, is that it can take longer then you might have planned. Also make sure your 1 years evidence is fool proof, they dont care if u been together more than that and have proof, they only look at the 1 year back from application. Thats the only area we had difficulty with. Anyways once again thankyou everyone!

Im currently gathering paper work for this part and was wondering what sort of evidence you pupt forward?

Theres already a million threads on this site that I used myself to get all the information from, so best to look through them. But best advice I can give you is that you cant send them too much. My package was like 100 pages of random stuff. Make sure you have the obvious, bank statements, payslips from work, rental agreements, bills, anything that has your names at your address and is dated within the 1 year mark. we sent photos and cards and other things to but I think official stuff from banks and bills are the key ones to have. Dont be afraid to send them a small enclyopedia worth of proof. Oh and make sure you send it recorded mail!
