Advice About pre-grant letter

Hi All,
I have received pre-grant letter today advising me to evidence my Visa before 22nd May, 2010 by going outside of Australia. And the case officer also requested to provide certified copies of passport and details of travel itinerary to validate my visa within 28 days. So it seemed I need to do my planning and book my tickets (before 22nd May, 2010) and send the details to the case officer within 28 days. Is my understanding correct?

Yup, you're right. Book your flight asap, send the info to your CO, but before 28 days is up from the date on the top of the letter.
Go on your trip before 22nd May and get your visa, come back into Aus about a week later with a valid visa :o) No more visa stress.
