Additional Sponsorship Options

Immigration SA is pleased to announce that the policies and procedures for the OFF LIST Sponsorship option have been finalised. More details on the criteria and the facility to accept On Line Applications will be available by the end of next week (www.migration.sa.gov.au)

Off-List - Summary

·A positive Skills Assessment that is on DIAC’s Skilled Occupation List
·A genuine job offer in South Australia that is full time (at least 35 hpw) and at least for six months forward in their nominated occupation or one that is closely related. These job offers will be verified with the employer by Immigration SA.

Student – work experience exemption

In addition, there is an an expansion to the exemption to the work experience criteria for recent international students who studied in SA or Australia.
