Stressed out over photo to send diac...

I know this sounds completely unhinged but im realy stressed out about sending my passport photo to diac, my main worry is that i know the person recieving it will be the person who decides on my visa.. So i want to send the best pic possible,, am i being nutts?? I know how stupid this sounds but im on my third set of pics now and it is getting out of hand but im becoming realy freeked out by it.. Someone please talk me down of this ledge before i go insane.. I want to give a good picture and every one i take is getting worse than the one before.. Hellllp....
I know its nucking futs.. But its bordering mania...

sorry Im stitches laughing thats like something I would do! Glad Im not the only person that feels that way, my police clearance picture makes me look like someone on Crimewatch, seriously take a photo send it and forget it, the person you are getting
is only going to match it to see if its the same as police clearances etc. Dont be worrying at all!!

thanks maisie glad you got a chuckle at my rediculas dilema,, this visa stuff is making me go over to the dark side.. i was fine and had decide to book a holiday for the summer ""giving myself something else to think about "" i was doing so well untill we got a CO last week i wasnt expecting one untill mabey August,, so now im on planet janet again and spending every waking hour on the internet trawling the forums.. oh i need to throw this pc out of the window before i go mental..

I have seen on this and I needed a good laugh.

We are hoping to move to Perth ASAP, in saying that we are saying that since we applied last May
for the 175 and moved to 176, fantastic news you got a CO really hope you get your visa through dead quick!!!!!

KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN, WE LOOKED LIKE A SET OF EASTERN EUROPEAN REFUGEES ON OURS..

WASN'T TOO HAPPY WITH MY PCC EITHER, SENT A DECENT PICCY BUT CAME BACK MAKING ME LOOK LIKE ALEX FERGUSON..ONE TOO MANY RED WINES!!

GOD KNOWS HOW THEY CAN TRANSFORM HOW YOU LOOK JUST BY SCANNING IT ON A CERTIFICATE?? LOL

OH maisie im a basket case at the thought of these photos,, and its not as if i look like a bag of spanners, its just the thought of being judged on appearances.. well chic we are off to melbourne if we get lucky,, so its a shame we wont get a chance to meet up.. it has been a long time for you to be waiting is there any particular reason for that?? its a pity that all the 175 visa app's are all having to apply for 176 now as the sponsership deps are all backed up for months we were lucky as my husband is officially a moron and failed the eilts test miserably he isnt academic but can speak bloody english and is a bloody good brickie.. how can you only score 6.5 speaking your own native langauge.. but it has worked in our favour as we had our sponsership before they changed the goalposts.. hope you get a result soon.. good luck and pm me when you fancy a natter... or a laugh..

just a thought do i need a photo for my pcc?? i only thought that they needed the disclosure paperwork from the police i am from scotland is it different here mabey.. i dont know.. im going to phone them right now.. someone please help..

Yes, your photo is scanned onto the certificate..

Its quite fancy and has a nice hologram at the bottom right corner, we ordered 2 spares when we got our originals just incase first got last in transit when sending to agent, but think we are gonna frame spares now!! lol I am sad!!

Thanks for the chukkle!!! I needed that as I was getting pretty serious and bogged down with AQF,TRA and DIAC paperwork!!! Nice to see something light hearted for a change!!

No need for disclosure if you are in Scotland. I got my Police Check fromwww.acpo.police.uk You can download the form from there.

I am in Scotland too!
