confusion on which path to take

arrrrr,aq111 test is lot of money to be paying out for,is therer any tradesmen who have or are going out on there other halfs visa appication. as my o/h is senior HR ADVISOR with degrees and loads qualification, and her job is on list. is it possible to do it this way. and does it take just as long for application? if can do it this way i could do aq111 plastering when in oz as cheaper. also does a a1 assessors course in plastering pack more punch than a nvq2 as i will be just a qualified as the assessor from the aq111 once done course???????

      many thanks adi

      Hello adi

Have you discussed your options with any agents at all, please? If so, what did they say?

      Human Resource Manager is here:

Human Resource Manager 1213-11 - Australian Skills Recognition Information

The occupation is worth 60 points but it is not on the MODL. It is not on the new Critical Skills List either. Therefore a visa application based on HR Manager would not get priority processing unless your wife can get State/Territory backing either for a subclass 176 visa or for the provisional subclass 475 visa.

      Plasterer is here:

A-Z Occupations List - Australian Skills Recognition Information

Solid Plasterer and Fibrous Plasterer are both worth 60 points and both are on the MODL, which is potentially worth another 15 or 20 points. Both occupations are also on the CSL, making for reasonably fast track processing even without State Sponsorship.

Which one of you should be the main applicant depends on a load of different factors. Whereabouts in Oz do you want to move to, please?

I would also suggest that you work out your respective Points totals:

Skilled – Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 175)

Turning to a possible skills assessment for you, adi, if you already have NVQ2 why do you believe you need to be assesed for AQF III instead, please?
