Processing Commenced??

What does that mean? On the DIAC status page of our application that's all it says. Is that the standard entry or is something actually being done? Does anyone know?
All this talk of the level of migrants being allowed in to Oz next year being restricted is making me panic!

i think its further processing commenced, think thats when a CO assigned (unless im mistaken)
ours says processing commenced but i know we wont have a CO on a 175 MODL now for yonks and our meds will run out before we get one so we jumping on a 176 QLD state sponsor now so we wont have to pay out for meds again.
its a nightmare minefield isnt it aaaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh

i got the same on mine, then 2 weeks later it said being processed further, asking to get meds done , asking for de facto relationship, birth certificates work experience state sponsorship etc ..my agent said he sent all this on lodging the visa does that mean i have case officer also,

No, my agent uploaded everything when our visa was lodged, she said not to worry too much about it asking for evidence as its just because they havent got a CO to check it all off yet. Mine says everything is req'd and we sent everything. Only got Police checks to do.
I rang immi on the 18 feb for info and this is the date my 'processed further' showed up.
Who knows....

My application status now shows processing commenced and our meds have been finalised but the immi update 3 march says 175 MODLs are not being processed at the minute. Anyone know what this means?
