      What if I get pregnant

      Hi

If I get pregnant after Ive logged my application and before the visa is granted would the DIAC amend my visa to include the baby once its born, will the put a hold on my application or would I have to apply seperately for the baby once its born?

      Any advise would be great.

      Thanks alot

Simple maybe but not very helpful, this is an interesting subject to me as my wife is 3 months pregnant at the moment or there abouts.
As I intend to apply soon how will this effect me ?

Any help on the subject in hand and not family planning advice much appreciated :)

I think you should include your unborn child to application.

Hi, Im sure I have read on here that if you have a baby after you have you submitted a visa application, then you would have to apply separately for your baby, and basically sponsor your own baby at additional costs.

Please note Im not 100% certain on this but I think I might be on the right lines with it.

I wouldnt have thought you could include an unborn child on a visa application. Obviously your medicals would state that you are pregnant but I doubt an unborn child could be included.

If you are using an agent then they would have all the answers to this.

      Good Luck

After a little research An unborn child cannot be a visa applicant. It can be added to an undecided visa application once born.

      Hope this helps

Well I assume there is a part on the form for undecided applicants ( I am not at that stage yet so have never looked into it more) .
take a look at the form and see :)

Good luck and let us know how you get on

my wife became pregnant after we had submitted our visa application. once the baby was born we just had to get her a passport and fill in a form to have her added to the visa application. you have to tell them because you cant have the x-rays done on the medical and so you will have to wait until after the baby is born.

we are now in the situation where we are waiting to sell the house before we can move to oz permanantly. we are also thinking about having another baby before we go. because our visas have already been issued and validated we would have to get any new arrival a 101 child visa. costs about $1400.

so if you become pregnant before you are issued with the visa, tell the diac about your change of circumstances and it wont cost you anything.
if you become pregnant after you get the visa then you will have to spend $1400 on a 101 visa.

      good luck.

the o'briens, visas all sorted, electrical license sorted, house sold, but still here.............
