Employer sponsorship - how does it work?
Hi All
Can anyone give us some indication of how the employer sponsorship works?
My wifes sister is wanting to open a business, and as we want to get out to OZ as soon as possible she wondered if she would be able to sponsor her as it is in the industry my wife works in, and is qualified in? My wife is under 30 but i am 33 so working visa's are not an option.
She is currently studying massage & will study it to a higher level but there seems to be no info out there about what the UK equivalent qualification is. Again any help or advice on what qualifications are needed & to what level would be greatly appreciated.
We are enquiring around other ways to get in, but these are just a few options that we thought we'd throw out there to see if anyone has any advice?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
M&C

hi
we have gone with a employer sponsored visa and i think the employer has to have been established for a certain time and employ a certain amount of people.

Hi Chris
massage therapist is on the skilled list at 40 points and my wife is currently studying towards that. She will have to take a higher qualification & at the moment we are trying to find out what our UK equivalent is.
I manage a team of people at the moment in an office, office manager is on there at 40 points but have no formal qualifications.Again i would take qualifications to get in but not sure what qualification would be needed.
We have tried to get answers from VETASSESS as to what our equivalent would be in the UK but are getting no replies. Is there a website we can get the information from ourselves?
Is the main benefit of my wife having a sister there or an employer sponsoring you that you get points for it?
