Oz v's UK based Migration Agents

Hi there

Just wondering how many of you are using or have used, migration agents based in Australia? I've found one that is highly recommended and I'm really keen to use them, but have a couple of reservations.

Did you find the time difference was a problem in anyway? Queries are never going to be answered the same day, and phoning them would generally be out of the question. Did you find it frustrating not being able to chat to them and always communicating by email?

Any feedback/reassurance on this would be great!

Hi, We are using True Blue in WA, they've been great. If we've mailed them one day, a reply is always there the next morning and during the summer(or at least when our clocks jump forward) if we mail them before 9am, we got a reply straight away! If you have Sky phone package you can ring Australia for free! We just scanned & attached all our documents to e-mails and sent them over so no problem. Hope this helps. Good luck x

I have no problems with contact what so ever, email mainly and all my questions are answered, except one, when will i get my Visa Grant LOL

We are using ASA migration (based in Perth) they are really good with there comminications, but yeah sometimes you do have to wait a little longer for a reply which is annoying when your despaerate to find something out!

Quite a few companies have multiple offices in the UK & Oz so thats another thing to check out

I guess its a personal preference choice, just try to make sure whoever you choose is a M.A.R.A registered agent, this means they are licensed by the Australian government to dispense immigration advice.
