Hi there and a huge welcome to PomsinOz - it's a great site!!!

Have you seen the official nurses thread? There's a lot of info there... here's the link:

      http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/jobs-c...es-thread.html

Also, check out Welcome to Ramsayjobs

Ramsay offer sponsorship visas to nurses or you can move on an individual visa for yourself... it's up to you but sponsorship is normally more staightforward and is often a lot quicker.

      Lots of Luck!!!

      Hope that helps...!!!

it's quite easy to get a nursing job from within the UK, most of the health boards and private health companies are recruiting continuouls y for nurses and many will offer a graduate programme.

You will probably need to be sponsored for a visa as you need at least a years working full time post qualification before you can apply for an independednt skilled visa. Most health boards/hospital will bring you over on a 457 business visa and then sponsor you for permanenet residency after a period of working for them.

I'm just starting the process my self so not really sure on the rentals side of things etc. but sometimes the hospitals will put you up for a couple of weeks or you could get a holiday let for a few weeks until you find a long term rental
