PR visas for nurses and working hours

At the moment i don't have the 12 months of working 20 hrs per week behind me so i cannot apply for the 175 visa. I have spoken to WA health and thought my only option would be to go 457 and get PR once there either sponsosred or independednt once i have more working hours, but it seems i could be sponsored for a PR by WA health from the word go which obviously i would jump at if given the opportunity.

I presume it would be the ENS 121/856 visa they are talking about and i've had a look on the immi.gov website and it states you need toi have worked 3 years full time up to appliation but occupations on the MODL list (of which nursing is) are exempt from this. Is this true???

If i can get PR visa sponsorship from the start i would be much happier even if it takes a little longer to get over there

Why do you need to get PR straight away?

Ive chosen to go the Sponser route, using Geneva health. They can get me a visa for 4 yrs with an option to get PR either through sponser or independantly within 6 months of being there. The registration is what takes the longest. Which you should be able to get in 6 months, then your out there.

Hi there...!

If you could get PR straight off I'd definately go for it!

Saves having to get another visa later on!

Regards,

I would be interested to know if anyone has been offered PR straight away from WA health because they didn't offer it to me and on their website it says ENS only offered after a period of employment!
