Going From Subclass 820 Spouse Visa(Provisional) To Perm Residency 2 yrs Later

Hi,Im wondering if anybody else out there is in same situation as myself.
Im on a Subclass 820 Spouse Visa which i done through immigration agent.Has anybody went through the second part themselves as i would like for us to do it ourselves if not to much paperwork etc involved as i dont really want to pay out any more money?
Im guessing it cant be anywhere near as much paperwork as the first part but maybe im wrong.
Any information would be appreciated..

Hi,
I have just put in for my pr (on spouse visa 820) & my agent just advised me what i would need for the 2nd stage.
You need to complete & have the following :-

History of your relationship statements (from you & your partner)
Form 888 (2 x stat decs from friends or relatives)
Form 80
Form 1101 (this was to get an aussie police check done)
Certified copy of passport & bio data page in passport
Evidence of your relationship for the last 2 years being
photos approx 5
utility bills, lease agreements, other bills, receipts, anything to prove you a a couple memberships.cards, letters etc (same as the first time round)
Then you send this off to DIAC & sit & wait
Good luck
Yell if you need more help

Hi,thank you for the information. I was thinking it could not surely be as much paperwork as the first part!(well worth it though)
Are you getting agent to do second part for you or doing it yourself?
Its actually a little while to go for me but i thought be best to find out about it just now...

Hi Interested
Well i sent my application for my pr off at the begining of november & all i have heard that as of 21st nov i had not had a co asigned & that once a co is assigned i shall receive a acknowledgement letter, so looks like is could be slow progress, approx 6 to 8 months i have heard.
stuju :-)

Hi Stuju, its myself here again!
Just wondering if you know the answer to this?.........

I am wondering if the 2 year wait to apply for permanent residence is 2 years from date i applied for the temporary spouse visa or is it 2 years from when i received my tempoarary spouse visa?
Also,is there a certain form i need to dowload and get filled in? The agent that done the 1st part wants $1100 (discount for regulars he says!) so i think ill be banking the $$$ and doing it myself.
Your info very much appreciated
