Hi

Can anyone tell me roughly how long it takes for our medicals to show as recieved or finalised on our online status page. We had them 3 weeks ago.

have you confirmed with the freight company that it has been delivered to the respective Processing Center?

No, i dont know who the dr sent them with or have a tracking number, should i have been given this?

We arranged for our medicals to be sent by courier ourselves, but if you phone the doctor they will be able to give you the information you need to track it. Or you could contact the Sydney processing centre direct, I dont have the email address but you should be able to find it on the DIAC website.

Meds take 10 days for blood results before even being sent to Sydney. So you can assume from date of meds just under 3 weeks before received in Sydney. I also read a thread here about a week ago that there is a 10 week delay in meds being processed in Sydney. We had ours 26/9, received Sydney 13/10. Nothing 'accepted' yet!
Just be patient! It all takes time eh?

From the date of our medicals it took exactly six weeks toget our reply from adelaide

Hi There,

We had our meds 17th September and our online status records them as being finalised on 21st October - so it all took about a month. Of course, every case is different, but this should give you an idea.

during my medical examination, i did requested the panel doctor to give me the tracking number of the freight company they use. my medical result was received by ASPC on 29th July and my main online status page has changed to "Health Requirement Finalized" on 22nd August 2008. so in my case, it takes roughly about 3-4 weeks to update the status page

Hiya Lisa, you could always phone the medical company and ask for the tracking number. Which one did you go to, Salford, or Manchester?
We went to Manchester and phoned the secretary a few days after the medicals were done and she was able to give us a tracking number. We just tracked it on the DHL website and at least we knew when it arrived in Sydney, it then took another couple of weeks before it was received in Perth.
