We are just setting off on our emigration adventure and we don't really know whether or not it is worth using a migration agent. If we do decide to use one can anybody recommend a good one.
We used an agent and it was money well spent. Our situation wasn't that straightforward and I phoned several agents, who all said they couldn't help.
As soon as we spoke to the guy we used, he was so confident that there was a way.
He was more than helpful all the way, nothing was too much bother.
I would gladly recommend him to others.
His name is Sammy Naghi, an Australian solicitor and registered migration agent, based in London. His number is 020 7407 5975.
Hope this helps
Best wishes
Sheena

I agree with Sheena - we also used an Agent and it was definitely money well spent. We used Ian Harrop & Associates. IH, Go Matilda, Visa Bureau and Sammy Naghi all get excellent feedback on this forum. Have a good look through the site and you'll soon see who are the less reputable/inconsistent ones.
Best of luck with it all,

Thanks Vicki, I will have a look at her website.
We are going to the show at Coventry on Sunday so hopefully we will get some useful information there as well. Have you been to any of these Emigration shows? Is it advisable to get there early?
Why do you need an agent. The forms are not that hard to fill in yourselves. Look up the Australian Embassy on the internet and download them. Try to complete them yourselves. We did it and it was not a lot of hassle. You can check your points on the internet as well. Save yourselves thousands.

Same here. We've done everything ourselves and to be perefctly honest, so long as you are prepared to research the DIAC website and forums like this, then you should be able to do it yourself.
After all the forms/booklets are all downloadable and you can now submit your application and documents online now and track them online also.
And most importantly save yourself a couple of grand!

I'll be at the Coventry expo tomorrow (Sunday) morning, probably close to the International Pension Transfers stand if you'd like a chat about visas and migrating to Australia.
Best regards.
